Prinţul Philip, soţul reginei Elisabeta a II-a a Marii Britanii, a încetat din viaţă. Prințul avea 99 de ani. S-au căsătorit pe 20 noiembrie 1947 la Westminster Abbey. Elisabeta și Philip nu și-au încheiat ceremonia de nuntă cu un sărut. De fapt, acest lucru a devenit tradiție în rândul cuplurilor regale abia când prințesa Diana și prințul Charles s-au sărutat pe balconul Palatului Buckingham după nunta lor din 1981.
